He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jose Luis Escobar Jr., Gerardo Escobar and Alejandro Escobar. He is survived by: his parents, Jose Luis and Cristina V. Escobar Sr.; his girlfriend Laura Madrigal; his daughter Daisy Escobar; his granddaughter Addelyn Paislee Ibarra; his siblings, Juan Luis Escobar (Maria Cristina), Roberto Escobar (Regina), Jorge Escobar (Nancy Rodriguez), Luis Adrian Escobar (Rosalba), Jose Miguel Escobar (Olivia), Jazmin Garcia (Fernando), Andy Escobar (Lupita Arce), Ana Maria Escobar, Jesus Alberto Escobar and Obed Escobar; his sisters-in-law, Koral Escobar and Sara A. Cuellar; and his cousins, Juan Reynaldo Escobar, Alfredo Escobar and Ana Laura Cavazos. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and other relatives.
