With sadness, we share the passing of David Galvan in Laredo, Texas. David, born on May 24, 1979, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvador Galvan and Maria Elena Galvan; and his siblings, Jose Luis Galvan, Norma Alicia Galvan and Marissa Rodriguez.
He is survived by: his children, David Jacob Galvan, Sophia Galvan, Alexa Galvan and Daniel Galvan; the mother of his children Cecilia Schunior; his siblings, Ramona Lopez (Samuel), Salvador Galvan Jr. (Maria Guadalupe), Denise Galvan, Abraham Galvan, Francisco Galvan and Jennifer Galvan; his stepmother Maricela Galvan; and his brother-in-law Armando Rodriguez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 7:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services (1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, TX 78043). A procession was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Will Depart the Funeral Home. A Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Vincent Catholic Church (555 E Del Mar Blvd, Laredo, TX 78041). A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78040).
