He was predeceased by: his brother Oscar J. Peña, Jr.; and his mother Marta Cuevas Peña. He is survived by: his son David Peter Peña (Gomez); his father Oscar J. Peña, Sr.; his sister Marta P. Montemayor; his brother-in-law Jose Montemayor III; his nephews, Oscar O. Peña (Doreen Puig), Karl W. Peña, Jose Montemayor IV (Patricia Peña Montemayor) and Oscar G. Montemayor; his great-nephews, Nicolas Oscar, Ever Baldomero, Christo Joaquin and David Sacha; and his great-niece Melinda Montemayor.
