She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose G. Garcia, Sr. and Anita Garcia; and her sisters, Anna Benavides, Oralia Martinez and Mary Moore.
She is survived by: her husband Gerardo J. Garcia; and her siblings, Jose G. Garcia, Jr., Grisela Flores (Moises), Sylvia Garcia and Teodoro Garcia (Edna). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
