Don leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Don’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Don will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Bernice Crosby Hatton and Don Virgil Hatton. He is survived by: his wife Adela Hatton; his daughter Taura Athena Hatton; and his siblings, Judy Hatton Sinkhorn, Donna Jane Hatton Humphries and Russ Hatton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Joe Jackson Heights Funeral & Cremation Service (719 N Loring Ave, Laredo, TX 78040). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 8:30 AM and from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (2219 Galveston St, Laredo, TX 78043). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:45 AM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78040).
