She was predeceased by: her parents, Longino Chavez and Gregoria Chavez Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Ventura Hernandez; her brother Antonio Chavez; her children, Brenda Contreras (Adiel), Daisy Zavala (Caleb), Mayra Canales (SAul), Myrna Arredondo (Rolando) and Ventura Hernandez Jr.; her grandchildren, Adiel Contreras III, Victor Contreras, Natlee Contreras, Daniel Contreras, Stephanie Zavala and Elize Zavala; and her siblings, Gerardo Chavez (Sylvia), Alonzo Chavez (Margie), Jose, Raymond Chavez, Manuel Chavez and Elba Huerta (Jose Antonio). She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
