She was predeceased by: her husband Ricardo; her parents, Antonio Elizalde and Evangelina Elizalde; and her siblings, Santos Rangel, Frances Galvan, Guadalupe Elizalde, Luis Elizalde, Manuel Elizalde and Gustavo Elizalde.
She is survived by: her children, Ricardo Muñiz Jr. (Cristina), Maria Magdalena Veliz (Jose, Sr.) of Lourdes, Manuel Muñiz (Maria), Daniel Francisco Muñiz Sr. (Clara), Juan Antonio Muñiz (Raquel), Emilia Banda (Daniel), Carmen Nuñez (Michael) and Patricia Lopez (Tony); and her siblings, Ruben Elizalde, Bertha Fiss, Jose Angel Elizalde (Juana), Antonio Elizalde (Guadalupe), Dagoberto Elizalde (Cristina) and Enrique Elizalde (Norma). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
