She was predeceased by: her husband Jose F. Paez; her grandson Baby Javier Paez; her parents, Marcelino Garza and Tomasita Garza; her siblings, Alicia Rendon Sr. (Ruben) and Manuel Arce (Teresa); and her sister-in-law Cora Arce.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Gabriela (Felipe), Jose Luis Paez (Dinora), Javier Paez (Laura), Patricia Peña (Gerardo) and Angelica Cantu (Robert); her grandchildren, Klaryssa Benavides (Raul), Isabella Paez, Christina Paez, Rebecca Paez, Karla Paez, Alejandra Peña, Marisa Peña, Samantha Peña, Matthew Cantu and Victoria Cantu; her great grandchildren, Eli, Luna, Solei and Kaelyn; and her brother Homero Arce. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
