It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fernando A. Sanchez (Laredo, Texas), who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raul Sanchez and Hortencia Lerma; and his siblings, Raul Sanchez, Humberto Sanchez, Gabriel Sanchez, Juan Manuel Sanchez and Hortencia Herrera.
He is survived by: his wife Severita Sanchez; his children, Fernando Sanchez Jr. (Natasha), Joanne Sanchez Gutierrez (Ricardo Treviño), Gerardo Sanchez and Federico Gutierrez (Lesly); his grandchildren, Guinevere Vela, Clarissa Gutierrez, Lukas Gutierrez and Sophia Gutierrez; his siblings, Anselmo Sanchez (Alejandra), Nydia Gutierrez and Yolanda Uscanga; his siblings-in-law, Maria Elena Sanchez, Teresa Sanchez, Estela Sanchez and Reyes Herrera; and his niece Luz Elena Sanchez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Joe Jackson North Funeral & Cremation Services (1410 Jacaman Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services (1410 Jacaman Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM at the Joe Jackson North Funeral & Cremation Services (1410 Jacaman Rd, Laredo, TX 78041).
