She was predeceased by: her son Rogelio Cantu; her grandson Juan Mojica Jr.; her parents, Ramon Martinez and Maria Flores; and her siblings, Telesforo Martinez, Ramon Martinez, Alfonso Martinez, Antonio Martinez, Luz Maria Valdez, Juanita Martinez and Francisco Martinez.

She is survived by: her daughter Maria M. Cantu; her grandchildren, Maria M. Garza (Jesus Johnson), Roberto Garza (Sandra), Claudia Monreal (Sergio), Ana Laura Cantu, Jose Mojica (Beatriz), Rogelio Cantu Jr. (Jessica Martinez) and Cindy Cantu (Jesus M. Dominguez); and her sister Martha Gonzalez. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
