He is survived by: his children, Gabriel "Mable" Valdez, Gloria, George Valdez, Grabiel Valdez (Mari), Gilda Valdez and Glenn Valdez (Joanna); his daughters-in-law, Patricia Valdez and Melissa Valdez; and his siblings, Juan Lizcano, Modesto Lizcano (Patsy) and Frances Olivarez. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Northside Chapels (800 Boston St, Laredo, TX 78041). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
