He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Miguel Almeida; his children, Victoria Russell (Aaron) and Jerry Almeida Jr. (Alexandra); his grandchildren, Peter Townes Russell, Sierra Russell and Julie Russell; his mother Macaria Arredondo Almeida; and his siblings, Janie Tinsley (Mark), Sandra Castaneda (Eddie) and Mike Almeida (Mari). He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
