He was predeceased by: his wife June Leyendecker; his parents, Peter P. Leyendecker and Emily Jordan Leyendecker; his granddaughter Krysta Dahlia Walker; and his siblings, Peter P. III, Samuel, Richard, Albert, Frank Leyendecker and Emily Ann Knowles.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Sandra Anne Leyendecker, Jessica Leyendecker Walker and Gilbert L. Leyendecker, Jr. (Denise); his grandchildren, James Patrick Walker, Jr. (Janet), Amanda Walker Hayes (Dustin), Jordan Leyendecker and Lauren Leyendecker; his great grandchildren, Christopher Travis Walker, Mira Krysta Rias Hayes, Jaina Lena Dalia Hayes and Nova Mercy Marie Hayes; and his friend Rosa Reynoso. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
