We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2024, at the age of 60, Gloria Martinez (Laredo, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Guadalupe Martinez and Bertha A. Martinez; her sibling Guadalupe "Pelon" Martinez Jr.; and her son-in-law Bernardo Sandoval Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Jasmin Jacqueline Sandoval, Blas Villareal Jr. (Marla) and Gilberto Guadalupe Villarreal; her grandchildren, Bernice Nicole Sandoval, Bernardo Sandoval III, Brandon Sandoval, Brian Sandoval, Nathan Morales, Blas Villarreal III, Kaylee Victoria Villarreal, Isabella Villarreal, Marlene Mata and Jayden Garcia; and her siblings, Arturo Martinez (Maria), Diana Alba (Albert), Bertha Miller (Carl), Marina Settle (David) and Christian Quijano (Jesus). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hillside Funerals & Cremations (310 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Laredo City Cemetery (3201 N Meadow Ave, Laredo, TX 78041). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
