Gloria U. Martinez Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 13, 2020, at the age of 80, Gloria U. Martinez of Laredo, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jose H. Maritnez; and her mother Blasa Bueno. She is survived by: her children, Griselda De Leon (Javier), Jackie Gonzalez (Luis Ambrosio), Jose Humberto Martinez Jr. and Jeanette Flores (Ricardo); her grandchildren, Rosalie De Leon, Javier De Leon Jr. (Jeminah), Jessica Lozano (Louie), Karina I. Gonzalez, Vanessa Chapa, Felicia Rivera (JeanKarlo), Stephanie Martinez, Luis Martinez, Humberto Martinez, Josette Flores and Madison Flores; her great grandchildren, Leleyna Mendoza, David Cruz, Louie Lozano, Hannah De Leon, Samantha Carreon, Destiny Ramos, Tommie Benavides and Adalee E. Hemenway; her siblings, Tina, Rosalinda Castro (Ernesto) and Sanjuanita Zamora (Javier); and her nephews, Humberto Jr. (Gilberto Cardenas), Jaime Castro (Lina), Lizette Castro and Javier Jr. (Rene Zamora). She is also survived by other family members and many friends.

During the last 12 years of Gloria's life, she battled Alzheimer's that was accompanied by other health conditions.
