He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Ortiz and Faustina Ortiz. He is survived by: his wife Maria Evelia Ortiz; his children, Juan Guillermo Ortiz (Gilda), Imelda Patricia Ortiz and Jose Ortiz (Elisa); his grandchildren, Guillermo Ortiz (Annalin), Guilda Inzunza (Jose), Jose Eduardo Ortiz, Daniela Vazquez (Juan Manuel) and Diego Adrian Ortiz; his great grandchild Sienna Inzunza; and his sisters, Consuelo Gonzalez and Popina Guevara. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
