She was predeceased by: her parents, Feliciano Cantú and Rosa Cantú; her husband Fernando Ortega Vasquez; and her siblings, Viviano Cantú Cantú, Marina Cantú Cantú and Rosalinda.
She is survived by: her children, Irma Ortega Reiner (Geoff) and Fernando Ortega, Jr. (Marisa); her grandsons, Geoffrey C. H. Reiner, Henry S. Reiner, Fernando P. Ortega and Eduardo N. Ortega; her sisters, Blanca, De Olvera, Fany Cantú Cantú, Yolanda Cantú De (Mario), Doralilia Cantú Cantú and Leticia Cantú De (Leopoldo); and her sister-in-law Norma Pinto of Cantú. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
