He is survived by: his wife Dora Cooper; his children, Angela M. Cooper, Desiree D. Cooper-Rosell (Steven), James F. Cooper IV (Socorro) and Nicole Cooper-Barron (Juan); his grandchildren, Ricardo Elizondo, Hailee Rosell, James F. Cooper V, June Cooper and Jezebel A. Barron; his siblings, Deborah Cooper, Russell Cooper, Richard Cooper (Susan) and Debbie Haecker (Russell); and his parents-in-law, Tomas and Elfida Palacios. He is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
