He was predeceased by: his parents, Santiago Vigil and Gloria Vigil; and his sisters, Blanca Eliza Vigil and Sandra Sylvia Vigil. He is survived by: his children, Javier Vigil Jr. and Lizzie Renee; and his siblings, Diana E. Barrero, Ricardo Vigil (Judy), Laura A. Castellano (Benny) and Yolanda Vigil. He is also survived by 9 grand children.
