He is survived by: his wife Bertha Alicia Trujillo Gallegos; his children, Brenda Chavez (Gerardo) and Jesus Orlando Trujillo (Mayte); his grandchildren, Gerardo Jesus Chavez II, Luis Francisco Chavez and Carolina Alicia Chavez; and his sister Emilia Chapa (Juan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
