He was predeceased by: his father Jose Gregorio Costilla; and his siblings, Elvira Gonzalez (Eusebio) and Martin Costilla. He is survived by: his daughter Jacqueline Guadalupe Costilla; his stepson Juan Jose Castillo Jr.; his mother San Juana R. Costilla; his siblings, Jose Costilla (Monica), Manuel Benito Costilla, Elvia Rodriguez (David) and Jesus Jaime Costilla (Azeneth); and his sister-in-law Elia Chavarria. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
