He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Mario and Maria Alicia Rodriguez; and his siblings, Enoc Rodriguez, Jose Antonio "Tony" Rodriguez and Rosa Rodriguez.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Rodriguez; his children, Joel Jr. Rodriguez (Mayra), Mary Flores (Javier) and Claudia Garcia (Homero); his grandchildren, Yasmin Rodriguez, Yamileth Rodriguez, Nancy Guzman (Arturo Coronado), Enrique Guzman (Darcy), Ashley Flores, Javier Flores Jr. (Maribel), Melissa D. Hinojosa (Arturo Sanchez), Homero Garcia Jr., Angel Garcia and Santiago Garcia; his great grandchildren, Kymberly Coronado, Arturo Joel Coronado, Krystal Coronado and Jesus Eden Aranda Jr.; his siblings, Oscar Mario, Eunice and Blanca; and his sister-in-law Maria Ignacia Rodriguez. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.
