John W. Gullette Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John W. Gullette (Laredo, Texas), born in San Antonio, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 29, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vernon Gullette and Joan Katherine Gullette; his niece Angela Reyes; and his parents-in-law, Daniel F. Mendoza and Estella R. Mendoza.

He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Mendoza Gullette; his children, Jessica Tobias (Robert), Lela Rose Gullette, Jeremy Daniel Gullette and Robert Donald Gray (Kristina); his sister Janet Reyes (Rick); his grandchildren, Robert Tobias, Ronin Tobias, Kali Tobias, Keilani Tobias and Xander Gray; and his in-laws, Lety Mendoza (Gilbert), Patsy Garcia (Joe) and Danny Mendoza (Alicia).

In lieu of flowers, even though he was an amazing master gardener, our family requests that donations may be made to the local animal advocates like Laredo Animal Protective Society, Best Friends for Life, or Freedom Ranch in honor of the passion and love he had for all his four legged babies he left behind and every other animal that got to experience his generous spirit.
