He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Gonzalez and Maria Gonzalez; and his brothers, Jesus E. Gonzalez and Oscar Gonzalez. He is survived by: his children, Maria Luisa "Lulu" Muñoz (Hugo) and Rosario Arellano; his grandsons, Hugo David Muñoz, Jr. (Sasha), Carlos Antonio Muñoz and Marco Alberto Muñoz; his great grandchild Austin Razavi; his sisters, Ana Maria Sanchez, Melva Guerra (Ricardo) and Rosa Fragiao (Fabian); his nephew Arturo "Turi" Gonzalez (Irma); and his godson Joaquin Garza.
