He was predeceased by: his parents, Candelario Ramirez and Isaura Elizondo Ramirez; and his siblings, Graciela Ramirez, Dr. Irene Ramirez, Candelario Hector, Fausto (Edmida) of Del Rio and Gilberto of San Antonio.
He is survived by: his wife Aurora Garcia Ramirez; his sons, Ed Ramirez Jr. (Adriana) and Justo (Gretchen Dittmer); and his grandchildren, Edmundo Lorenzo and Sofia Cristina Ramirez.
