He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Rendon and Manuela Rendon; his brother Thomas Seldon Rendon; and his children, Diana Rendon Gutierrez (Filiberto) and Juan Jose Rendon Jr. (Elvira).
He is survived by: his wife Maria; his daughter Sara Alicia (Felipe); his grandchildren, Juan Jose III (Amber), Marco Rendon (Kimberly Martinez), Kiana Rendon, Lorena Garza (Joe), Johnny Almaraz, Jr. (Gloria) and Mia Reyes; his great grandchildren, Juan Jose IV, Daniel Alexander Rendon, Jacob and Jayson Garza; and his brothers, Richard D. Rendon (Thelma) and James R. Rendon (Linda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hillside Funerals & Cremations (310 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A prayer will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Procession Will Depart the Chapel (310 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hillside Funerals & Cremations (310 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Procession Will Depart the Chapel (310 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041).
