He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Marcos Hernandez and Maria Isabel Gamez of Hernandez; and his siblings, Ana Vazquez, Lucina Hernandez Gamez, Eustaquio Hernandez Gamez, Gela Hernandez Gamez, Heladio Hernandez Gamez, Antonia Hernandez and Nemesio Hernandez Gamez.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalinda Hernandez; his daughters, Denise Hernandez (Ignacio Vazquez Jr.) and Cynthia Lozano (Rene); his grandsons, Eduardo and Julian Benavidez; his siblings, Meles Hernandez Gamez, Flora Hernandez Gamez and Maria; and his sons, Ste and Laredo.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services (1029 Bob Bullock Lp #1, Laredo, TX 78043). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
