He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabriel Garza Silva and Martha Flores; and his brother Gabriel Garza Flores. He is survived by: his wife Griselda Aparicio of Garza; his children, Griselda Esmeralda Garza (Aldo Gonzalez), Miguel Angel Garza (Tanya Hernandez), Lorenzo Alexander Garza and Jocelyn Garza; his grandsons, Aldo Emanuel Gonzalez, Aaron Eduardo Gonzalez and Ian Miguel Garza; his siblings, Martha E. Garza Treviño (Hector Hugo Treviño), Ricardo Garza Flores (Veronica Armendariz), Gilberto Garza Flores (Silvia N. Perez) and Maria G. Garza Porras (Armando Porras Zurita); and his sister-in-law Dora Vielma of Garza. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
