She is survived by: her daughter Luz Idalia Valdez (Eric Valdez); her mother Maria Victoria Sandoval; her grandchildren, Alayna Elizabeth Valdez, Ella Rose Valdez and Ezra David Valdez; her siblings, Mary Elizabeth Sandoval and Rodolfo Sandoval (Rudy); and her close friend Mario A. Renteria, Jr..
