It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lydia Esther Garza (Laredo, Texas), who passed away on December 6, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jesus Octavio Garza; her grandchildren, Luis Contreras Jr. and Elvira Contreras; and her mother Maria Davila. She is survived by: her children, Olivia Garza, Norma Vega (Elias), Ninfa Johnson (Raymond), Mary Esther Contreras and Araceli Garcia (Manuel); her grandchildren, Juan Palacios, Elias Vega, Jr., Ray Johnson, Jasmine Johnson, Kassandra Juarez, Gracie Castilleja, Manny Garcia and Arabella Garcia; and her great grandchildren, Juanito Jr., Janelle, Leroy, Genesis, Joey, Harmony, Aliyah, Angelica, Raul, Alex, Andrew, Alina and Zaylee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
