She was predeceased by: her parents, Agustin Perez and Concepcion Perez; her husband Juan Luna; her daughter Rosa Maria Avila Sr. (Manuel); her grandson Gerardo Avila (Martin Luna); her daughter-in-law Irma Luna; and her siblings, Victor Perez Jr., Herlinda Montiel, Zulema Arispe, Olga Gomez, Emma Gonzalez and Estelita Perez.
She is survived by: her son Juan Francisco Luna III; her grandchildren, Manuel Avila Jr. (Bertha), Eduardo Avila, Geraldina Avila, Juan Luna IV (Elvira), Roberto Luna (Angie), Ana Laura Luna, Diana Luna and Esmeralda Acevedo (Omar); and her siblings, Mario Perez, Amalia P. Garza, Alicia Cortez, Maria Concepcion Arispe and Teresa Carrillo. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels (800 Boston St, Laredo, TX 78041). A vigil service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 8:30 AM and at 9:00 AM. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78040).
