He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Gracie Ruiz; his son-in-law Enrique Ruiz; his grandchildren, Emiliano Ruiz and Yvonne Soto; his daughters, Idalia Soto (Juan Jose), Zulema Garza (Jorge Eduardo) and Margie Guzman (Joe); his grandchildren, Enrique Ruiz (Kassandra Serna), Erica Ruiz (Robert Jimenez), Esteban Ruiz (Ashley Gutierrez), Yolanda Soto (Gary Garibay), Yessenia Soto (Esteban Flores), George Edward Garza, Melissa Lara (Leandro), Norma Graciela Garza, Manuel Rene Garza, Jose Guzman, Jr. and Jorge Rafael Guzman; his sister Rosalinda; and his pet Lucheese. He was also cherished by numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
