She was predeceased by: her parents, Agustin Cano and Maria Guadalupe Cano. She is survived by: her husband Jesus Chavaria; her daughters, Maria Guadalupe Jimenez (Francisco) and Isabel Chavarria; her grandchildren, Jesus, Edgar, Oscar, Yadhira and Iliana; and her sisters, Santos, Rosa Gutierrez (Joel) and Amelia. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Northside Chapels (800 Boston St, Laredo, TX 78041). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Mother Cabrini Catholic Church (3018 Davis Ave, Laredo, TX 78040).
