She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Horace Ross Thorpe; her parents, Victor Nava and Juana Garza; her son Horace Ross Thorpe (Maricela); her grandchildren, Christina Contreras (Hugo), Ramiro Villalobos, Raul Rene Villalobos (Claudia), Jeannette Lee Villalobos, Gerardo Palos (Alejandra), Bo Jesse Thorpe, Priscilla Thorpe and Priscilla Chavez; and her great grandchildren, Oscar Lara Jr., Claudia Lara, Caileen Lara, Amber Garcia, Kayla Villalobos, Ramiro Villalobos III, Raul Villalobos, Kassidy Villalobos, Gabriel Villalobos, Angel Villalobos, Anthony Villalobos, Leila Villalobos, Adrain Flores, Brianna Flores, Jordan Flores, Natalie Palos and Hailee Palos.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels (800 Boston St, Laredo, TX 78041). A Mass was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1718 San Jorge Ave, Laredo, TX 78041). A burial was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78040).
