He is survived by: his wife Siria Cavazos; his children, Mario Cavazos (Michelle), Leonor Jambor (David), Luis Cavazos and David Cavazos; his grandchildren, Susan A. Cavazos of Mario, Cavazos Jr., Carlos A. Cavazos and Jesus A. "Muscleman" Cavazos; his great grandchild Emma G. Cavazos; his niece Adriana Cavazos Rodriguez; and his nephew Oscar Cavazos III.
