She is survived by: her children, Juan Antonio Vela (Yolanda), Guillermo Vela (Guadalupe), Velma Sandra Medellin (Jerry), Jose Alfredo Vela, Olga Imelda Vazquez (Gilbert), Jaime Peryam (Cynthia) and James Vincent Peryam; her grandchildren, Juan Antonio Vela Jr. (Cristina), Sonya Veronica Vela, Lilliana Vela, Jesus Vela, Sandra Rebecca Salmon (Jack), Sarah Isabel Medellin, Jennifer Lorene Medellin, Amanda Celeste Vazquez, Gilbert James Vazquez and James Matthew Peryam; her cousins, Lydia Gonzalez, Mary Meza and Pancho Herrera; and her sister-in-law Basilisa Muñoz. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
