She was predeceased by: her mother Angelita Garcia of West Texas; her husband Nicolas Hernandez Sr.; her daughter Sonia Hernandez; and her siblings, Manuel Reyes, Raul Garcia, Seferina Hernandez, Sara Garcia and Margarita Cordova.
She is survived by: her children, Severina Alvarado (Fernando), Sally A Hinojosa (David), Senaida Gonzalez (Rene) and Nicolas Hernandez Jr. (Erika); and her siblings, Federico Reyes, Aucencio Lopez Sr. (Guadalupe) and Delfina Hernandez. She is also survived by seven loving grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
