With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma P. Vargas (Laredo, Texas), who passed away on April 15, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Jose Ramiro Vargas; her parents, Ascencio Piña and Cruz Piña; her nephew Raul Garcia Jr.; and her siblings, Olga Piña, Diana Miller (Ron), Luz Garcia (Raul Sr.) and Juan Manuel Piña (Josefa).

She is survived by : her caregiver Nora Buitron.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hillside Funerals & Cremations (310 W Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church (102 Hillside Rd, Laredo, TX 78041).
