She was predeceased by: her husband Ramiro Ramirez, Sr.; her parents, Polo Elizondo and Micaela Maldonado; her siblings, Carmen Sanchez, Gloria Flores and Pedro Guerra; and her son-in-law Roberto De Luna.
She is survived by: her children, Ramiro Ramirez, Jr. (Leticia), Laura, Elsa Frausto (Robert), David Ramirez (Lisa) and Oralia Apodaca (William); her grandchildren, Monica Forman (Fred), Melissa Santos (Daniel), Claudia Rodriguez (Antonio), Patricia Villarruel (Manny), Robert Frausto, Jr. (Gabriela), Vanessa Y. Frausto (Noe Garcia), David Duve Ramirez, Jr. (Alyssa), Jaclyn Hammonds (Ty), William Apodaca, Jr. (Megan), Ryan Apodaca, Eric Apodaca (Leah) and Joseph Apodaca; her stepgrandchildren, Chris Small, Brandan Small, Ashley Small and Zachary Morgan; her brothers, Polo Elizondo Jr. (Irma), Hector Elizondo (Faye) and Javier Elizondo (Lilly); and her niece Maria Estela Jalocha. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel (1410 Jacaman Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A procession was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM at the Laredo City Cemetery (3200 N Meadow Ave, Laredo, TX 78040).
