He is survived by: his wife Elsa Duarte Martinez; his children, Oscar Roberto Martinez, Jr. (Zonia), Adriana Dickerson, Patricia Martinez and Marisa Martinez; his grandchildren, Cristina Victoria Trimm (Neil), Carlos Alberto Cardenas, Jr., Michael Andrew Dickerson, Joseph Patrick Dickerson and Oscar Roberto III; his great grandchild Isabella Victoria Sanchez; his sisters, Denise Richardson, Sylvia Perez and Laura Orfila; and his cousins, Rodolfo Ramos and Maria Denise Molina. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services (1410 Jacaman Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (555 E Del Mar Blvd, Laredo, TX 78041). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78040).
