He was loved and cherished by many people including : his mother Hilaria Rodriguez; his wife Victoria Gutierrez; his children, Gloria Yvonne Jimenez, Laura Wilkerson (Shane Wilkerson), Pedro Gutierrez Jr. (Sarah Gutierrez) and Jose Luis Jimenez III; his sister Juanita Torrez; his grandchildren, Victoria, Reynaldo Jr., Nahum Agustin, Nichole, Derrick, Rosa, Pedro Ismael, Joanne, Jessie and William; and his caregiver San Juanita Uvaldo. He was also cherished by great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Even during his final months, he was overcoming Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and liver cirrhosis.
