He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Nelia Sciaraffa; his daughter Araceli Sciaraffa Bernal (Gabriel); his parents, Luis Sciaraffa and Maria Hilaria Sciaraffa; and his siblings, Maria Luisa Medina, Araceli Bueno, Luis Sciaraffa Jr., Salvador Sciaraffa, Hortencia Sciaraffa, America Ramos, Dalia Evans and Guillermo Tays.
He is survived by: his daughters, Adriana Velasquez (Sergio), Annabel Ramirez (Rolando) and Annette Sciaraffa Nuñez; his grandchildren, Jason E. Ramirez, Vanessa Tiznado (Jesus), Sergio Hugo "Red" Velasquez Jr. (Mariajose), Christopher Nuñez (Alyssa), Amanda Nuñez (Yair Hernandez), Dante Ramirez, Marcos Velasquez (Ashley), Luis Rafael Bernal and Alyssa Nuñez; his great grandchildren, Cristian Tiznado, Sofia Tiznado, Nayeli Tiznado, Ivan Tiznado, Sergio Velasquez III, Nicholas Velasquez, Evangeline Velasquez, Penelope Velasquez, Calel Nuñez, Andrè Hernandez and Addison Velasquez; his sister Margarita Martinez; his sister-in-law Rosa Sciaraffa; his niece Cynthia Mares; his caregivers, Raquel, Gabby, Lily, Blanca, Yolanda, Susie and Olga; Alex Gamboa. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
