It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raul Javier Gomez (Laredo, Texas), who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosalio Gomez and San Juana Espinoza Gomez; his brother Juan Antonio Gomez; and his grandson Michael Gomez. He is survived by: his children, Raul Javier Gomez Jr. (Mary Robinson), Alejandra Jessica Gomez, Jacobo Seferino Gomez, Sandra Linda Gomez (Joshua Laughlin) and Isabela Reyes; his grandchildren, Analee Gomez (Ramon Mayers), Isaiah Gomez, Javier Gomez, Elijah Gomez, Rosario Gomez, Raul Gomez III, Jacob Gomez, Marisela Gomez, Isaac Gomez, Seraphina Gomez, Jasmine Gomez, Sophia Gomez, Jaquan Gomez, Vicente Gomez, Dakota Gomez, Anabella Gomez, Alejandra Gomez, Abriana Gomez, Jacob Gomez Jr., Jessiah Gomez, Nathaniel Gomez and Anaya Laughlin; his great grandchildren, Adrian Mayers and Atlas Mayers; his siblings, Rosalia Jaime, Graciela Serrato (Leo), Ricardo Gomez (Juanita Hernandez), Martha Catalina Vicencio (Joe), Jose Luis Gomez (Gregoria), Maria Esmeralda Gomez, Jesus Manuel Gomez (Aurora) and Marco Antonio Gomez (Elizabeth); and the mother of his children Sandra Reyes. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friend.
