He is survived by: his wife Adriana Aviña Barraza; his children, Rene Barraza Jr., Tracy Garza IV (Mauricio) and Christian Barraza (Amanda); his grandchildren, Zoë, Christian Levi, Luke Andrew, Lyla Isabella Barraza, Roberto and Elizabeth Gutierrez; and his siblings, Rodolfo Barraza, Hugo Barraza (Gabby), Jose Barraza (Dalia), Roberto Barraza, Leticia Avila (Daniel), Luisa Esparza (Roberto) and Diana Melinda Barraza. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
