He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberto Vargas and Margarita Vargas; his brother Roberto Vargas Jr.; and his nephew Ramiro Torres III. He is survived by: his wife Ana Isabel Vargas; his son Rene Vargas Jr.; and his siblings, Ricardo Vargas, Margarita and Rosa Elva Herrera (Rosalio). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
