He is survived by: his wife Fernanda Meliza Gonzalez; his daughter Meliza Gonzalez Alvarez (Diego); his grandsons, Joaquin Hunter Alvarez, Raphael Andreas Alvarez, Alessandro Alvarez and Marcelo Emmanuel Alvarez; his siblings, Agnes Marshall (Stephen) and Richard Javier Gonzalez (Maria Gloria); and his sister-in-law Yvonne Salinas Gonzalez.
