He is survived by: his wife Angelica Martinez; his daughters, Mayra Barrera (Freddy), Marta Bernal and Yesenia Paredes (Javier); his grandchildren, Wilfredo Barrera Jr., Abby Barrera, Gabino Barrera, Bruno Barrera and Brianna Juarez; his great grandchild Wilfredo Barrera III; and his siblings, Mario Bernal, Ramiro Bernal, Benito Bernal, Virginia Hernandez, Maria Elena "Vicky" Escobar and Esmeralda Briones. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.
