He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Gonzalez and Rosario Mendiola. He is survived by: his wife Violeta Gonzalez; his daughters, Sherry and Samantha Gonzalez; his son-in-law Mario Galvan; his grandson Roan Alexander Galvan; his brother Carlos Gonzalez Jr.; his sister-in-law Lourdes Gonzalez; and his brother Rene Gonzalez. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
