He was predeceased by: his parents, Rogelio Soliz and Leonor Soliz; his sister Olga Soliz; his son-in-law Ricardo Chavarría; and his brother Nasario Soliz (Margarita Soliz).
He is survived by: his wife Maria Isabel Soliz; his children, LeRoy Soliz, Erika Soliz Esparza (Juan Gonzalo Esparza), Jacqueline Soliz Chavarría (late Ricardo Chavarría) and Rogelio Soliz, III (Rebecca Marie Soliz); his grandchildren, Andrea Jacqueline Soliz, Rogelio Nicholas Soliz, Renato Jared Soliz, Ricardo Chavarría, Jr., Isabella Chavarría, Roman LeRoy Soliz and Rogelio Soliz, IV; and his siblings, Yolanda Villa (Julian Villa), Josefa Reyes (late Manuel Reyes), Leonor Lopez (Evelio López), Ramona Montemayor (Sergio Montemayor), Concepcion Gonzalez (Alberto Gonzalez), Felipa Gamboa (Primitivo Gamboa), Ramon Soliz (Maria Soliz), David Soliz (Hilda Soliz), Marcelino Soliz (Esperanza Soliz), Esteban Soliz (Myra Soliz) and Candelario Soliz (San Juanita Soliz). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.
