He was predeceased by: his wife Alicia Garcia Ramirez; his parents, Serafin Ramirez and Esperanza Ramirez; and his siblings, Homero Ramirez, Ramiro Ramirez, Rene Ramirez and Irma Ramirez Vela.
He is survived by: his children, Rolando Ramirez Jr. (Annabel), Cordelia Escudero (late Jose), Leticia Uribe (Sergio) and Luis Ramirez (Irma); and his grandchildren, Jason Ramirez, Luis Ramirez Jr., Jacqueline Uribe Rodriguez, Catherine Uribe Arellano, Joe Escudero, Alexandra Ramírez Paz, Dante Ramirez, Elizabeth Ramirez Watkins and Jorge Escudero. He is also survived by his 10 great-grandchildren; and his beloved nieces and nephews, along with other relatives, caregivers, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel (1410 Jacaman Rd, Laredo, TX 78041). A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 8:30 AM and from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mother Cabrini Catholic Church (3018 Davis Ave, Laredo, TX 78040). A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:45 AM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (3600 McPherson Rd, Laredo, TX 78040).
